I’m running for Mayor because Hood River deserves leadership that listens, shows up, and reflects the community we all call home. This isn’t just about me. It’s about building longer tables — more seats, more voices, and more people who’ve never had a say finally getting one.

I bring seven years on Hood River City Council, along with a career in community health and a lifetime of lived experience in this town, to this work. Those of us who live and work here should be part of the conversation when decisions are made about our community, not brought in after the fact. Real representation means building pathways…so the next generation of leaders, whoever they are, has a seat, too.

I can’t do this alone, and I don’t want to. Collaboration is how we get there, together.
